The employees are represented by Southwestern Ontario Health Care and Service Workers Union, CLAC Local 303. The union has represented RPNs at the home since 2002. The new contract provides them with annual wage increases, benefit improvements, and some additional flexibility to their working schedules. “We knew, based on a pattern of settlements across Ontario, that we got as much as we could for our members in this round of bargaining,” says Trish Douma, regional director with the union. “Providing these nurses with some additional flexibility in their schedules was also a priority.” You might be interested in The Human Side of Safety 12 Jun 2026 Ledcor Road Maintenance Workers Secure Wage and Allowance Increases in New Collective Agreement 11 Jun 2026 AI: Healthcare Help, or Headache? 10 Jun 2026 Serving Up Love in the Kitchen 9 Jun 2026
