Monday, February 8, 2021 Remembering Darrell Duchscher Long-time member and local board president passed away January 28 Locals Local 151 Newsletters National Saskatchewan Local 151 CLAC is saddened to announce the passing of long-time member Darrell Duchscher on January 28. Darrell was a member of Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 151, in Saskatchewan and was an integral part of CLAC for more than two decades. At the time of Darrell’s passing, he was the president of the Local 151 board. Darrell worked for PTW Industrial Services (formerly Pyramid Corporation) at the Cargill plant in Clavet, Saskatchewan, for 25 years. Darrell served on many bargaining committees during his time with CLAC, along with being a steward and Local 151 board member. “Darrell was one of the pioneer CLAC members in Saskatchewan,” said Dennis Perrin, CLAC Prairies director. “Darrell was extremely influential in getting CLAC established in Saskatchewan, and that leadership stayed steadfast until his passing. He was a fine man, and we will miss him dearly." Darrell leaves behind a legacy in both his professional and personal life. He was a devoted husband to wife Dana and caring father to son Steven and daughter Taylor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
