Monday, November 4, 2024 Ratifications Locals Local 63 Newsletters Alberta Local 63 Ledcor Highways Ltd. – Shop Members recently ratified a new agreement with 94% approval! Here are the key highlights: • 2-year agreement • 3.95% increase in year one • Wage review with a minimum 2% increase in year two • Service and welding truck premiums • $200 reimbursable safety gear allowance • Increase to the meal allowance PCL Builders Inc. (commercial division) Members ratified a 2-year agreement that will see the journeyperson carpenter rate rise to $41/hr. Other improvements include an increase in the boot allowance to $200 and $225 in 2026, the addition of custom ear plug or prescription safety eyewear reimbursement at $200 and $225 in 2026, and contract language improvements. PCL Energy Inc. Members working for PCL Energy voted 72% in favour of a new agreement that will likely be the goalpost for major industrial work in the Edmonton area.
