Negotiations for the renewal began in February 2020 and were subsequently delayed by several challenges, primarily the pandemic lockdown measures and a turnover of management staff bargaining on behalf of the employer. The 12 members employed by the Village of McBride and McBride Community Forest Corporation work in administration and public works, keeping operations running smoothly for the approximately 600 residents who live in the community.
