Thursday, June 12, 2025 Procon Miners Employees Ratify New Three-Year Contract Local 63 Ratifications Construction EDMONTON—Local 63 members employed by Procon Miners Inc. ratified a three-year collective agreement. The new contract provides members with a three percent wage increase in each year of the agreement. It also provides other increases and improvements including a $1 per hour increase in employer contributions to members’ retirement savings, effective in the first year, and improved bereavement leave coverage. The approximately 120 members employed by Procon are performing underground mining work up at the Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories.
