Sunday, March 30, 2025 Preparing For Trade School Newsletters Construction Are you an apprentice in Ontario? Have you heard of the Apprentice Development Benefit (ADB)? ADB financial assistance is available to apprentices who meet the eligibility criteria and are attending an approved full-time apprenticeship training course. This financial assistance can help cover the costs associated with attending a full-time block of trade school in Ontario, including: Living allowance Dependent care Commuting Travel and overnight accommodation Living away from home Persons with disabilities You’ll get an email from your local Ministry consultant with more details, usually within the first one-two weeks of starting school. Don’t ignore this email! Important details about the incentive and application process are in there, including the last date for submission. Late applications will not be processed.
