Pre-Apprenticeship Leadership Award Winner

CLAC is proud to partner with the Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute (PAT) to promote the trades and provide training to those interested in the trades.

PAT runs a number of pre-apprenticeship programs in its two campuses in Ontario—one of which is located in the CLAC Cambridge Member Centre.

As part of this partnership, CLAC awards the Leadership Award to one member of each graduation class. The winner is chosen by PAT instructors based on their employability score, which includes attendance, participation, personality, time management, work site awareness, health and safety, and grades. The winner receives recognition, a new hard hat, and a gift card to the CLAC store.

Congratulations to Kyle McMurran, who completed the Construction and Maintenance Electrician program and won this award on November 23, 2017. During his training he took on a leadership role, helping his fellow students who would often ask for his advice in class.
