Friday, February 8, 2019 P.H.E. Contractor Sales Employees Ratify First Agreement Local 52 Ratifications Construction Brampton, ON—Employees of electrical sub-contractor P.H.E. Contractor Sales Ltd. have voted unanimously in favour of their first three-year collective agreement. The 33 employees are members of Construction Workers Local 52, affiliated with CLAC. Highlights of the collective agreement include the introduction of employer-paid health and welfare benefits, employer-paid pension plan, significant wage increases over the three-year contract, and the introduction of employer contributions to CLAC’s Education and Assistance Fund. “The parties were able to negotiate a deal that provided significant improvements for the employees while still allowing the employer to remain competitive,” said J.D.
