Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Park Lane’s Pet Calendar Locals Local 305 Newsletters Ontario Healthcare Local 305 members at Park Lane Terrace in Paris love their pets. So much so that a number of staff would regularly bring their pets to the home to visit with residents and staff alike. These visits help to make the day better for so many. COVID-19 stopped these visits so stewards looked for ways to pivot and find alternatives. As a way of bringing some fun to the units, and as a bit of a distraction from all the pandemic talk, the Stewards Committee asked CLAC’s Communication Team if they could prepare a 2021 Pet Calendar. Staff were encouraged to submit pictures of their furry family members, and the pictures did not disappoint! The CLAC Communications Team took the photos and created a wonderful wall calendar for everyone to enjoy. To further extend the benefit, the committee ordered extras and sold them for $5 each. All of the money raised went to the purchase of a meal for the staff during the Christmas season. Well done Park Lane stewards!
