Locals Local 6 Local 52 Local 53 Newsletters On March 29, 2017, the deadline to complete working at heights training was extended for some workers to October 1, 2017. The six-month extension applies to workers who have completed fall protection training before April 1, 2015 that met the old requirements, and are enroled in an approved WAH training program that will be completed before October 1, 2017. CLAC provides this proof when you register in our course. Since the release of CLAC’s Working at Heights training program in November 2015, we have trained over 3,000 CLAC members and over 1,000 members of the public. Register for training today. Visit clac.ca/courses to find a course near you! CLAC will continue to help workers complete their training before we prepare for the recertification process that will begin next year. Remember, your WAH training is valid for three years. Please ensure that we have your current contact information on myCLAC.ca so that we can provide you ample notice about your recertification options.
