Monday, February 26, 2024 Nuna Logistics Employees in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Ratify New Contracts Locals Local 63 Ratifications Sectors Construction Edmonton—Local 63 members employed by Nuna Logistics Limited in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut voted 81 percent and 71 percent respectively in favour of ratifying three-year collective agreements. Both agreements provide wage increases of 4 percent in 2024 and 2.5 percent in 2025. Nuna Logistics is Canada’s largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, mining, and remediation contractor. It employes 96 Local 63 members in the Northwest Territories and 82 members in Nunavut. The local was certified to represent the company’s employees in the Northwest Territories in 2002 and in Nunavut in 2005.
