Monday, October 22, 2018 Nominations Sought for Local 301 Board Elections Local 301 Newsletters As per CLAC’s constitution, one-third of Local 301 Board positions expire each year. The terms of three members will end on December 31, 2018. The board is now inviting you to submit names of possible nominees. From these suggestions, the board will develop a final slate as per Article 8.07 of the local’s constitution. When presenting names of possible nominees, it is important to remember that “no one shall be nominated who is not a member in good standing of the Local, has not indicated willingness to serve if elected, is not qualified to give leadership that is in harmony with the Constitution, or whose conduct might reflect unfavorably upon CLAC.” (Article 8.07) Names of possible nominees should be sent to Local 301 Board care of the Edmonton Member Centre at 14920 118 Ave. Edmonton, AB T5V 1B8 fax: (780) 451-3976 email: edmonton@clac.ca Nominations must be received on or before noon, November 16, 2018, at the Edmonton Member Centre.
