Thursday, December 10, 2020 New Contract Provides Wage, Benefits Improvements for Caressant Care Employees Locals Local 304 Ratifications Sectors Healthcare Harriston, ON—Registered nurses employed by Caressant Care in Harriston voted in favour of renewing their collective agreement for two years. The employees are members of Health Care and Service Workers Union, CLAC Local 304. Along with annual 1.5 percent wage increases over the term, the new contract provides employees with improvements to their benefits plan, including vision care, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Improvements were also made to weekend and shift premiums, uniform allowances, and responsibility payment.
