Friday, May 15, 2020 New Contract for Velocity Mechanical Employees Locals Local 53 Ratifications Sectors Construction Cambridge, ON—Contract renewal has been secured for the 44 employees of Kitchener-based Velocity Mechanical Inc., with 85 percent of employees voting in favour of the settlement negotiated by their union, Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 53. New terms take effect on April 1, 2020. The three-year contract provides for total value increases between $4.70 and $5.24 per hour, depending on classification.
