Tuesday, June 9, 2020 New Contract for Everstrong Construction Employees Provides Wage, Pension, and Other Improvements Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Georgetown, ON—Employees of Everstrong Construction Ltd., based in Georgetown, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with increases to wages and pension and other improvements. The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52. The union has represented the employees since 2017. The new contract provides employees with three percent annual wage increases over the term of the contract plus 10 percent employer contributions to the CLAC Pension Plan, rising to 11 percent in 2021 and 12 percent in 2022. In addition, employees will now be entitled to seven paid sick days per year, and the boot allowance was also increased to $350 annually. Everstrong employs skilled and general labourers working mostly on schools throughout the GTA.
