Tuesday, July 3, 2018 New Contract Brings Wage Boost to Workers at Optimum Mechanical Solutions Ratifications Construction Ottawa—CLAC members employed by Optimum Mechanical Solutions have voted in favour of a renewed collective agreement. This three-year contract provides members with some of the best wage rates in eastern Ontario. Other improvements include stronger definitions of the foreperson and lead hand classifications, and increases to premiums for these positions. There is also a revised and improved tool allowance, and additional compensation for those with more than 10 years of service.
