Friday, November 20, 2020 New Contract Brings Wage and Benefit Improvements to CLAC Members at Scott Construction Ratifications Langley, BC—A new three-year collective agreement has been ratified by CLAC Local 68 members employed by Scott Construction (2005) Ltd. The contract was approved by 93 percent of the membership. Highlights include solid wage increases and improvements to the benefits plan and equipment allowance for the 30 carpenters, construction safety officers, labourers, and other employees. “Despite bargaining in a time of uncertainty, we were pleased to add another 5.1 to 6 percent in wages over three years to what is already a leading compensation package in the industry,” says Robert Schmidt, CLAC representative.
