Wednesday, April 10, 2019 NCSG Hauling and Rigging Employees Ratify First Agreement Locals Local 56 Ratifications Sectors Transportation and Warehousing Bonnyville, Alberta—Employees of NCSG Hauling and Rigging Ltd. in Bonnyville voted 83 percent in favour of ratifying their first collective agreement. The 30 employees are members of Logistics, Manufacturing, and Allied Trades Union, CLAC Local 56. The 30-month contract provides more structure to classifications and includes a 1.4 percent increase in vacation pay. Improvements were also made to both retirement savings contributions and the health and welfare benefits plan. Employees previously had a five percent matching retirement savings plan for all regular hours worked. They will now receive three percent contributions from their employer with an additional two percent matching program for all hours worked. The benefits plan moved from being a cost-sharing plan to one that is fully funded by the employer. NCSG provides hauling and rigging services throughout Alberta.
