Monday, April 24, 2017 Members at Villano Construction Ratify New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sudbury, ON—Local 52 members employed by Villano Construction Limited voted unanimously in favour of ratifying a three-year collective agreement. The contract provides annual wage increase of one percent, a one-percent increase to employer contributions to the pension, a $250 footwear allowance per year, $400 of paramedical coverage per year, employer contributions to the education and training fund of 20-cents per hour, improved leaves of absence and bereavement provisions, and improved overtime language. Local 52 members employed by Villano are involved in excavation and land development for the commercial and residential sectors in the Greater Sudbury area.
