Thursday, February 18, 2021 Meet Megan Knahs Locals Local 56 Newsletters Alberta Local 56 Megan is a new member of the Local 56 Board, elected by her peers for a three-year term that began in January 2020. She has 15 years of experience as a Red Seal certified journeyperson parts technician and works at Edmonton’s First Truck Centre Inc. where she has been for the last 8 years. Megan also has served as a CLAC steward for the last four years as well as on the union bargaining committee for the last two collective agreement negotiations. She is co-chair of the FTC Safety Committee and looks for ways to grow personally and professionally and then draw from her experiences to help others. She is honoured to be elected to the Local 56 Board and looks forward to serving her fellow members in her new role on the board.
