Sunday, August 28, 2022 Meet Marty Snider, Your CLAC Representative Newsletters Saskatchewan Local 151 Hi everyone! My name is Marty Snider, and I recently joined the team at CLAC as a representative in the Saskatoon Member Centre. I thought I would introduce myself so that when we meet, you will know a little bit more about me. My family and I just moved from Abbotsford, BC. I have been married for 16 years and we have 3 very awesome little humans I call my children. We also have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 12 chickens, and a guinea pig named Freddy. Previously, I have worked in human resources as well as in government, politics, and the business world. What makes this job interesting to me is getting out to meet members and having the opportunity to get to know them and help them out. I appreciate and value connection and helping ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Something kind of interesting about me is that growing up, I lived most of my formative years in West Africa, specifically Ghana and Cameroon. I also spent three years living in the Netherlands. I really enjoy meeting people who are from those areas or people who have travelled quite a bit. When I am not busy at work, I enjoy woodworking, watching the Edmonton Oilers, and hanging out with my family. I am looking forward to the temperate Saskatchewan winters.
