Mayor Helps Members Make It Fair

Local 303 members employed by Oxford Manor Retirement Residence in Ingersoll were greeted by Mayor Ted Comiskey as they were handing out postcards to promote CLAC’s Make It Fair campaign

The union is calling on retirement home operators to immediately increase their workers’ wages by $3 per hour to keep up with the rising cost of living and counteract the understaffing issues being experienced across the healthcare spectrum.

Even better: Comiskey committed to asking constituents to sign the petition during his campaign for reelection.
