Maplecrest Village Employees Ratify New Contract

Employees at Maplecrest Village ratified a three-year collective agreement with their union, Niagara Health and Service Workers Union, CLAC Local 302.

The contract included two percent wage increases in each year of the agreement, improved scheduling language, and provision of a drug card, increased vision care, and weekly indemnity amounts.

“Although this was another challenging round of bargaining, we were able to come out ahead with solid improvements that we have been working toward for a long time,” says Michael Reid, CLAC representative. “It is extremely satisfying to secure improvements for our members, and we are looking forward to continuing them.”
