Thursday, March 14, 2024 Maple Reinders Employees Vote Strongly in Favour of Ratifying New Contract Locals Local 63 Ratifications Sectors Construction Calgary—Local 63 members employed by Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. voted 80 percent in favour of ratifying a 32-month collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other gains. The new contract provides members with a five percent wage increase over two years followed by a wage review in the latter half of the agreement. In addition, members will benefit from an extra sick day (from two to three), improved travel and accommodations language, a sunset clause for discipline, an increase to the night-shift premium, and more.
