Employees Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Cambridge, ON—Employees of Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. voted 82 percent in favour of a new three-year collective agreement, effective May 1, 2021, until April 30, 2024. The settlement was negotiated by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52, which has represented the employees since August 1970. The contract provides employees with total value increases of between 7.5 and 8 percent. Along with significant hourly pay increases each year, the new agreement also provides improved pension contributions, better vision coverage under healthcare benefits, and a higher allowance for employee tool and boot purchases.
