Monday, January 4, 2021 Maintenance Workers at Nason Contracting Ratify New Agreement Locals Local 63 Ratifications Sectors Construction Edmonton—Maintenance contractors employed by Nason Contracting Group Ltd. have endorsed a new two-year collective agreement. The contract was ratified by 79 percent of the membership during a vote in December. It keeps wages steady and provides some improvements to premiums and allowances for expenses such as boots and tools. “In a tough economic climate, members decided to hold the line,” says John Taekema, CLAC representative. CLAC Local 63 represents 50 maintenance contractors at Nason, which works on construction projects throughout the Edmonton area.
