Monday, April 12, 2021 LTS Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract Locals Local 63 Ratifications Sectors Construction Calgary—Local 63 members employed by LTS Build Services Ltd. unanimously ratified a new collective agreement providing annual wage increases and improved contract language. The members are employed as MxU techs, cable splicers, lineman, and labourers. LTS does work primarily for Telus installing their fibre optic cable infrastructure (5G). The 30-month agreement provides wage increases of one percent this year, 1.25 percent in 2022, and one percent in 2023. In addition, improvements were made to contract language regarding best practices and premiums for clarity and consistency.
