Wednesday, May 6, 2026 Low's Glass and Mirror Workers Approve New Agreement with Wage and Benefits Gains Local 6 Ratifications Construction ST. CATHARINES, ON—Employees of Low’s Glass and Mirror Co. Ltd. ratified a new collective agreement providing wage increases, improved benefits, and enhanced retirement contributions. The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 6. The union has represented the company’s employees since 1969. The group voted unanimously in favour of the agreement, which runs from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2028, and includes wage increases of nine percent over the term. The agreement also provides corresponding increases to pension contributions, enhancements to employee benefits, and increased funding for training and industry support initiatives. “This agreement reflects the strong working relationship between the company and our members,” says Matthew Barrett, representative. “It delivers fair wage increases and meaningful improvements while supporting long term stability and growth.” Low’s Glass and Mirror Co.
