Local 920’s AGM Combined Work and Fun

The 2018 Annual General Meeting for the Ontario Volunteer Firefighters Association Local 920 was held on Saturday, May 12 at Dynamic Earth, an interactive science museum in Sudbury.

The 11 participants included board members from five municipal volunteer firefighter departments across Ontario, as well as several CLAC representatives. The meeting gave board members the opportunity to review the Local’s affairs and activities in the past year.

Afterwards, there was a guided tour of an underground mine, where we learned about the history of mining in Sudbury. The meeting ended with a group photo taken at the most famous of Sudbury landmarks, the Big Nickel.
