Monday, February 5, 2024 Local 63 Members Employed by MCL Power Ratify Two-Year Contract Locals Local 63 Ratifications Sectors Construction Edmonton—Local 63 members employed by MCL Power Inc. ratified a two-year collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements. The new contract provides members with a three percent base wage increase along with increases to night-shift premiums and the boot allowance. The agreement puts the company in a position to hire qualified tradespeople and secure work for members in the future. MCL Power employs approximately 35 Local 63 members who work in the Edmonton area at many locations providing single source electrical services to commercial construction.
