Ratify Contract Locals Local 6 Ratifications Waterloo, ON—Local 6 members employed by this Waterloo-based company ratified a three-year contract. The agreement provides annual two-percent wage increases, increased travel pay and a new allowance for those who opt not to stay in hotels, increased foreperson premium and a foreperson cellphone allowance, and added paid leave for the birth or adoption of a child. In addition, the weekly overtime threshold was reduced by nine hours for weeks with a statutory holiday, and daily overtime was improved. This agreement also brings field technicians into the bargaining unit.
