Local 6 Members at Redline Stick with CLAC and Ratify Contract

Woodstock, ON—Local 6 labourers and carpenters at Redline Structures Ontario Inc. voted down a raid attempt by the Formwork Council of Ontario (LIUNA and the International Unions of Operating Engineers) by a vote of 17 to 1.

They then ratified a three-year contract that provides annual 2.5 percent wage increases, annual 10-cent per hour pension increases, and annual one-cent per hour education and industry fund increase. Employees will also receive an increase to the daily meal allowance for out-of-town work.
