Wednesday, November 2, 2022 Local 56 Members Employed by First Truck Ratify Three-Year Contract Locals Local 56 Newsletters Alberta Local 56 Ratifications Sectors Transportation and Warehousing Edmonton—Local 56 members employed by First Truck Centre Inc. in Edmonton ratified a three-year collective agreement. The new contract provides an immediate four percent wage increase followed by two percent increases in years two and three. Premiums for CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program) and Class 1 and 3 licenses were also increased. In addition, the agreement includes a doubling of the number of sick days and an increase in members’ health spending accounts.
