Thursday, December 15, 2022 Local 52 Members Employed by Rumble Electric Overwhelmingly Ratify New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Toronto—Local 52 members employed by Rumble Electric Co Ltd. voted overwhelmingly in favour of a three-year collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements. The 35 electricians and apprentices will see an immediate raise of $2.43 to their hourly wage rate. Subsequent raises of $1.15 and $1.05 will apply to the second and third years. The contract also includes new paid personal/sick days for longer term employees and improvements to the boot allowance and travel provisions, while maintaining industry-leading employer pension contributions.
