Thursday, July 2, 2020 Local 52 Members Employed by Marnoch Facilities Maintenance Unanimously Ratify New Agreement Ratifications Construction Barrie, ON—Local 52 members employed by Marnoch Facilities Maintenance unanimously ratified a new three-year collective agreement. The members, who are mainly plumbers and electricians, will see their wages increase by approximately 8.5 percent by June, 2023. There are also significant improvements to the night-shift premium and the safety and tool reimbursement allowance. “The bargaining committee handled the remote negotiation meetings extremely well,” says Joshua Vanderlaan, CLAC representative. “A lot of time and effort went in to this process, and ultimately we were able to negotiate an agreement that will provide a sense of stability for the members.” Marnoch Facilities Maintenance is a multitrade contractor specializing in a wide range of commercial and construction services in the Greater Toronto Area.
