Secure Wage and Vacation Pay Increases Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Burlington, ON—A new three-year collective agreement has been ratified by members of Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52, employed by Twiss Electric Ltd. Highlights of the package include a general wage increase of $5.75 per hour and an extra 1 percent in vacation pay for members who have four or more years of service. Other improvements include an additional $50 for the purchase of safety equipment, work apparel, and tools. As well, the foreperson premium will increase from 10 percent to 18 percent. Thirty-eight CLAC members are employed by Twiss as electricians. Twiss Electric Ltd. provides residential and commercial electrical services in the Burlington, Oakville, and Toronto areas.
