Local 519 Board News

Manufacturing, Transportation & Allied Workers Union, CLAC Local 519 elected a new executive at their September 2018 meeting.

Continuing as Local 519 president is Lawrence Jasper, from Sinteris in Blenheim. Joining Lawrence from Sinter-is is Martin Zimmer, who will serve as vice-president. Jeremy Ramboer of Waste Management is treasurer, and CLAC provincial representative Kate do Forno is secretary.

The board looks forward to 2019, which promises to be a year of invigoration. The board is currently planning an engagement strategy to encourage greater involvement in local events.
