Tuesday, August 21, 2018 Local 303 to Represent Oaks Retirement Village Employees Locals Local 303 Ratifications Wallaceburg, ON—Local 303 has been certified to represent the cooks, registered practical nurses, personal support workers, concierge workers, and dietary aides employed by Oaks Retirement Village. The 68 employees chose CLAC based on their desire to achieve fairness, equal treatment, and see wage increases and seniority provisions in a collective agreement. “We are looking forward to negotiating a fair agreement for this group, one that will bring the employees up to the standards we have at other retirement homes we represent,” says Mary Ellen Alward, CLAC field representative.
