Thursday, July 30, 2026 Leduc Electrical Services Workers Approve New Agreement with Wage and Benefits Improvements Local 52 Ratifications Construction KINGSTON, ON—Electricians employed by Leduc Electrical Services Ltd., an electrical contractor based in Kingston, Ontario, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement delivering wage increases, enhanced benefits, and improved training provisions. The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52, which has represented the company’s workforce since 2017. The group, which includes journeyperson and apprentice electricians, voted 100 percent in favour of the agreement, which runs from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2029. The agreement includes wage increases of $1.50 per hour in 2026, followed by $1.25 per hour increases in both 2027 and 2028. The agreement also includes improvements to benefits, including increased coverage for clinical psychologist services up to $1,200, enhanced vision care coverage of $300 for frames, lenses, and contact lenses, and increased eye exam coverage to $100 every 24 months.
