Ledcor Highways Employees Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of New Two-Year Contract

Leduc, AB—Local 63 members employed by Ledcor Highways Ltd. – Shop voted 94 percent in favour of ratifying a new two-year collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements.

The mechanics, welders, yard persons, instrumentation specialists, and labourers will receive a 3.95 percent wage increase in year one (November 2024) and a guaranteed 2 percent wage increase with a wage review in year two. Other enhancements include service/welding truck premiums, a $200 reimbursable safety allowance, and an increase to the meal allowance amount.

The members service and maintain the heavy duty equipment used by various Ledcor divisions.
