Friday, May 1, 2026 Langley Construction Workers Approve New Power Shotcrete Agreement with Wage, Retirement Gains Local 68 Ratifications Construction LANGLEY, BC—Construction workers at Power Shotcrete Structures LTD., a shotcrete construction contractor based in Langley, British Columbia, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement delivering wage increases, retirement contributions, and enhanced benefits. The employees are represented by Construction and Allied Workers Union, CLAC Local 68, which has represented the company’s workforce since 2011. The 34-member group, including carpenters, labourers, equipment operators, truck drivers, and mechanics, voted 100 percent in favour of the agreement, which runs from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2029. The agreement includes wage increases of two percent in the first year, 2.5 percent in the second year, and a wage review in the third year. The agreement also includes employer retirement contributions of $1.00 per hour worked, with matching contributions of up to $2.50 per hour after 4,500 hours of service.
