Monday, March 2, 2026 Labonte Concrete Employees Ratify New Three-Year Agreement Providing Improved Wages and Benefits Local 52 Ratifications Construction CORBEIL, ON—Labonte Concrete Ltd. employees represented by Local 52 ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with steady wage increases and several key improvements to their benefits and working conditions. Local 52 has represented Labonte’s employees since 2020. The renewed contract, effective from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2029, provides across-the-board wage increases of 4 percent in 2026, 2 percent in 2027, and 1.5 percent in 2028. Employer pension contributions will rise to 6.5 percent, and health and welfare contributions will increase to $1.95 per hour by 2028. The agreement also includes a $300 annual reimbursement for work boots and workwear, improved travel allowances for projects beyond 75 kilometres, and enhanced bereavement leave provisions.
