KS ZYP Employees Unanimously Approve New Collective Agreement

Wardsville, Ontario—Employees of KS Zyp Ltd., a concrete forming contractor based out of Wardsville working primarily in the Region of Waterloo, unanimously approved a renewal of their collective agreement recently.

Employees voted in favour of accepting the three-year contract negotiated on their behalf by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 53.

The settlement provides employees with increases to their monetary package including wages, pension contributions, travel provisions, and employer-paid health benefits funding.

“This renewal contract is once again an excellent testament to the working relationship between the parties,” says Ryan Griffioen, CLAC representative. “We had positive and productive discussion at the bargaining table, which led to an agreement that benefits all involved. The workers passed it with a huge stamp of approval.”
