Monday, December 2, 2019 Help Us Grow! Newsletters By Ryan Timmermans, Regional Director Over the last 20 years, Local 151 has been privileged to represent thousands of members working in Saskatchewan’s construction sector. But we know there are workers in other sectors of the province who could also benefit from CLAC’s professional representation, solid collective agreements, great health benefits plans, and secure retirement savings plans. Across the country, CLAC represents people working in manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, retail, emergency services (volunteer firefighters), and many other sectors. But we need your help in Saskatchewan. If you have friends, family members, or acquaintances who may benefit from CLAC representation in their workplace, please give them our contact information. Sometimes, the hardest part for people is the first call. You can assure them that our staff treat calls with the utmost confidentiality. We will first have a conversation to understand what the issues are, if CLAC can be of service, and ultimately if we are the right fit for them and their coworkers in their workplace. CLAC is focussed on being positive and purposeful. We are committed to building healthy work communities. We are always here to serve and help our members. We bring a positive approach to resolving workplace issues and helping our members achieve a better work-life. If you know of someone who may benefit from CLAC’s services, please invite them to contact Chad Vankoughnett. Chad is a representative working out of our Saskatoon Member Centre. He can be reached at 877-649-2522 or by email at cvankoughnett@clac.ca. We sincerely appreciate your help, and we value the opportunity to be of service.
