Healthcare Appreciation Gifts

Locals Local 303 Newsletters Ontario Healthcare

All healthcare workplaces represented by CLAC will be receiving a special gift throughout the winter months as a small token of the union’s appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and courage in working during the pandemic.

Below are pictures of some of the recipients so far.

Local 303 members at Fiddicks Nursing Home Limited in Petrolia received padded chairs and a cyclonic microwave, which speeds up cooking time. The gifts for Fiddicks were made possible in partnership with Colleen Wigmore, a healthcare aide who serves her fellow members as a steward and president of the Local 303 Board.

Local 304 members at Roberta Place in Barrie received a number of appreciation gifts. Pictured are PSWs Stephanie Eddy, Melissa Gagnon, and Amanda Watson.

Oluwatobiloba (Tobi) Oluwatayo, Swathy Saju, and Aalyha (Lilly) Charles, PSWs at Whispering Pines Residence in Barrie, show off their new smart gloves.
