Sheet Metal, based in Hamilton, Ontario, unanimously ratified a two-year collective agreement providing them with significant gains. The new contract provides a $7.25 per hour wage increase, or 19.2 percent, over the term as well as a $1.14 per hour increase to employer contributions to members’ pension plan. In addition, vacation pay was increased depending on years of service, the tool allowance was increase, and three new paid sick days were negotiated. G.S.
