Greater Stability and Opportunity for Eden Villa Employees

Chatham-Kent, ON—Local 303 members employed by Eden Villa Retirement and Assisted Living in Chatham-Kent unanimously ratified a new three-year collective agreement.

Highlights of the new contract include two percent wage increases for each year of the contract, a new training premium, significant expansion to sick time language (including an increase to  hours banked) an improvement to the “in-lieu of” premium for casual employees, and a new daily overtime trigger.

“Bargaining with Eden Villa was a productive process,” says Kate do Forno, CLAC representative. “Working together, we were able to create greater stability and opportunity for the members.”
