Tuesday, November 7, 2017 Greater Hamilton Volunteer Firefighter Association, Local 911, Retiree Appreciation Dinner News On October 25, the Greater Hamilton Volunteer Firefighter Association, CLAC Local 911, held a dinner to honour retirees who had served for 10 or more years and had retired after 2002, when the local was formed. In total, 35 retirees with combined 759 years of service were honoured. The founding Local 911 Board members—Adam Gall, Jim Skinner, Pete Purdy, and Ron Schwindt—were also honoured at the event. As well, the local was happy that all past board presidents were able to be in attendance. Local 911 would like to thank all of our past and present volunteers who proudly serve in our communities!
