Graceview Enterprises Workers Ratify Contract Delivering Strong Wage and Pension Improvements

BELMONT, ON—Employees of Graceview Enterprises, a general contractor based in Belmont, Ontario, unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement delivering wage increases, improved benefits, and enhanced retirement contributions.

The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 53, which has represented the company’s workforce since November 1977.

The group voted unanimously in favour of the new contract, which takes effect July 1, 2026, and runs through June 2029. The agreement provides total compensation increases ranging from 11.2 to 13.6 percent over the term. It also includes an additional two percent employer contribution to employee pension plans, along with improvements to vacation pay and enhanced vision and optical benefits.

Additional gains include improved compensation for travel time and mileage reimbursement, as well as increased allowances for tools, boots, and workwear.

“This settlement serves as a solid financial foundation for our members for the next three years,” says Roger Grootenboer, CLAC representative. “Graceview has always been a workplace where employees come onboard and then choose to stay for a career. This settlement continues to provide the certainty of work with solid compensation terms to maintain that positive work community and culture. We are pleased to work with management to arrive at this mutually beneficial reality.”

Graceview Enterprises delivers general contracting services for construction projects and provides site-related services, with employees working on projects in Belmont and the surrounding southwestern Ontario region.
