Friday, December 15, 2017 GML Mechanical Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract Ratifications Langley, BC—Local 68 members employed by GML Mechanical Limited have voted unanimously in favour of ratifying a three-year collective agreement. The contract provides yearly wage increases, an introduction of a $200 per calendar year boot allowance, and improved language surrounding living out allowance and subsistence language for out-of-town work. “This was a great round of bargaining,” says Ben Timmermans, CLAC Local 68 representative. “In the end, we were able to secure a good contract that benefits the membership.” Members employed by GML Mechanical are currently working on the Epic Tower in Vancouver as well as building the new phases of the Tsawwassen Springs Apartment.
